AC-MXNET-10G-TCVR Firmware ~ MCU V1.49 ~ FPGA V2.3.0.1 ~ 04-17-2026

NOTE: If your AC-MXNET-10G-TCVR is not selectable to update in MENTOR, please see this Knowledge Base Article to determine what firmware you need to upload: https://support.avproedge.com/portal/en/kb/articles/how-to-determine-the-appropriate-10g-tcvr-firmware-to-load-onto-your-device

NOTE: Some model types, such as AC-MXNET-10G-TCVR-PRO, AC-MXNET-10G-TCVR-AVDM, AC-MXNET-10G-TCVR-USBX, may utilize this firmware due to an earlier hardware revision. No feature limitations would occur if your PRO/AVDM/USBX utilizes this firmware. Please follow the above guide to determine the appropriate firmware to utilize.

NOTE: If extracted audio fails to past post-upgrade to V1.49 when using an AVDM model, please factory reset the device.

V1.49

  1. Fixed an issue where disconnecting the HDMI Loopout port would cause the HDMI Input to re-negotiate, when a TCVR is in encoder operational mode.

  2. Fixed an issue that could result in no audio output from certain sources.

V1.45
  1.       Added the ability to upgrade integrated modules over the network.
  2.       Added HDCP Pass-through (decoder) as well as HDCP input request options (encoder).
  3.       Fixed an issue where disabling extracted audio output on a decoder while simultaneously lowering the volume to 0 would result in extracted audio being outputted on the decoder.
  4.       Added the ability to change the extracted audio processor's operational mode from normal operation("0") to option "1", which delays extracted audio processing by 7 seconds upon a hot plug event.
    1. This is used to mitigate a specific issue where certain sources would lose extracted audio but HDMI audio output was still present after a timeframe of 12-48 hours.
    2. Use the CBOX command "config set device dspmode" to adjust.
  5.       Various minor improvements in relation to extracted audio.
