AC-MXNET-CBOX ~ V2.73 ~ 03/14/2025
Note: Please update the CBOX first, before attempting updates on the endpoints. Using firmware V2.55 or above for the CBOX requires the latest encoder/decoder firmware in order to function properly.
Caution: If your AC-MXNET-CBOX is on a firmware version below V1.70, you must update to version V1.70 first, before proceeding with the most recent firmware version.
Version V2.73
New Features:
Added new System Monitoring software to the CBOX. This software will continuously check for a "pulse/heartbeat" of the web GUI services or the API server (port 24) for active communication. If communication fails 3 pulse checks, this monitoring software will automatically reboot the respective services, massively increasing long-term system stability/redundancy if a failure event occurs.
- Added new endpoint MCU Communication monitor. If the CBOX receives duplicated messages from the MCU of the endpoint within 1 seconds, the CBOX will ignore subsequent messages for 5 seconds after. If duplicated messages are still parsed after 5 seconds, the CBOX will suspend communication to the MCU of the specified endpoint.
- Improved HDR metadata processing from MXnet 1G endpoints.
- Added new page for Audio Return (ARC/eARC) routing for V2 devices.

Modified the Configure -> Diagnostics web page. Advanced parameters can now be displayed per endpoint by clicking on the icon next to the endpoint's custom name, see below:
The "Export Log" feature within the System Log page will now export all internal logfiles contained within the CBOX, into a .ZIP package.
Bug Fixes & Improvements:
- Fixed a bug where sending two video subscription change commands (matrix aset :v) simultaneously to a V2 decoder, and the new encoder is a different video resolution than the previously subscribed encoder (Ex. 4K -> 1080P, 1080P -> 4K), would result in video distortion on the decoder's output sink device.
- Fixed the "Modules" page not populating the AVDM downmix preset options and V1-DANTE-E Dante parameters.
- Fixed a bug where AC-MXNET-1G-D endpoints with the internal model name of "AC-MXNET-1G-R" would cause the decoder firmware update selection window to not populate.
- Fixed a parameter adjustment on V2 endpoints during the initialization/discovery process of the CBOX, that would cause V2-Decoders to restart.
- Adjusted the location of the bandwidth and PoE columns within the Configure page.
- Fixed a bug where a logfile within the CBOX accumulates a large amount of repeated data.
