The recommended update procedure for the USP product line is as follows:
  1. Upgrade the USP-CBOX to the latest firmware available.
  2. Upgrade the USP Endpoints to the latest APP Firmware available.
  3. Upgrade the USP Endpoints to the latest MCU Firmware available.
    1. If upgrading from APP V1.2.2.5 to APP V1.2.3.9 or later, factory reset the updated endpoints after upgrading the MCU.

AC-MXNET-USP-CBOX V3.44.0 Key Upgrades

  1. Start Media Player playlists and apply multiview layouts across multiple decoders in a single command, with significantly improved playlist playback synchronization.
  2. Rudimentary RTMP streaming support to third-party stream servers, including YouTube and Twitch.
  3. External RTP/RTSP streams, as well as RTSP Open Streams, have audio atomically synced with the video track.
  4. Endpoint media storage management — view storage consumption and delete playlists per endpoint to free space.
  5. CEC command sequencing — buffer and execute multiple CEC opcodes in a single command.
  6. Improved USB-C source handling for USP-PR endpoints: proper hot-plug detection, status feedback, and working AUTO-MATRIX previews.
