Installation & Operation:

  • Mounting: Secure on a flat surface or wall using included screws and drywall anchors.
  • Powering: Use the included 5VDC/2A power supply (cannot be powered directly from RTI control processors).
  • Ethernet Connection: Connect via Cat-5/6 cable to a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet network. Use DHCP for IP address assignment.
  • Reset to Factory Defaults: Hold the reset button for 6 seconds to clear settings and restore defaults.

Serial (RS-232) Connections:

  • Compatible with Cat-5/6 cabling and RJ-45 termination for RS-232 communication.
  • Includes RJ-45 to DB-9 adapters for devices with serial/DB9 connectors.
  • Recommended to keep cable length as short as possible for optimal performance.

Safety Suggestions:

  • Avoid heat sources, water, and moisture.
  • Prevent objects or liquids from entering the unit.
  • Refer servicing needs to qualified personnel.

Limited Warranty:

  • Covers defects in material and workmanship for 3 years (1 year for battery packs).
  • Excludes damage from misuse, neglect, unauthorized repairs, and other specified causes.
