Evolution II Wall Plate Encoder Revisions
Introduction
The AC-MXNET-1G-EV2WP has gone through several revisions each bringing an improvement or design change. This article serves as a quick reference guide for identifying what each hardware revision changed. The hardware revision of an EV2WP can be found on the front of the encoder behind the face plate.
Revision E (Current Version)
This revision slightly reduces the back chassis size to better fit into certain low-voltage mounting brackets and mud rings
Revision D
This revision added the ability to remove the front mounting plate with the addition of four small screws.
Revision C
This revision changed the front plate mounting design to conform to the Decora standard from the proprietary mounting plate used on Revision A and B.
Revision B
This revision added the ability for the USB-C connection to support USB 2.0 data. There was no change to the industrial design compared to the initial hardware release.
Revision A/No Revision
This was the initial hardware release of the AC-MXNET-1G-EV2WP.
