System Recovery Wizard
1. From the communications menu select System Recovery Wizard.
2. Click Next > Click Create New System File
3. Now provide a name for your new system file that the recovered devices will go into and click Save.
4. You will be back to the wizard now > click next
5. Make sure the device you are going to recover is plugged into USB and then click on the Receive File button the
pull the information from the device.
6. Now you will see the device listed in the Devices currently in system box.

7. Before you click Finish, attach the next device to USB and click the Receive File button to pull that device in.
Continue this until all the devices are listed in the box. Then click Finish to complete the wizard.
Things to be aware of:
Not all devices support system recovery, and even devices that do support it have a chance of not working with
system recovery. These reason’s could be the version of Integration Designer user to create the file is too old, the
copy of the file that is currently on the device has become fragmented (even though it may still be functioning).
RTi Panel licenses attached to the system file will not be recovered and will need to be added to the new file.
System recovery is a last resort shot at not reprogramming a system from scratch and is not a replacement for
making backups of your system files and RTi Panel licenses.
