Web Interface not responding on X / XR-series processors and receivers

When you navigate to the IP address for your Maestro X series processor or Concert XR series receiver, you may find that changing the settings in the web interface does not affect any settings on the device.

The web interface will not control the device if the "Control" setting is set to anything other than IP.

Set Control to IP using the front panel menu

On the front panel of your processor or receiver, open the menu, then select General Setup.
Scroll down to and select the Control option, and set it to IP.

Back in your web browser, reload the device's web interface. Now, any changes made here will affect the settings on the device.
Alert
If you navigate to the General Setup menu using the web interface, it will always say Control is set to IP, even if it's actually set to something different. When the web interface does not seem to be working, always double check the front panel menu!
Idea
If you plan to use RS232 to control your device, you can set the device to IP temporarily while you're doing the initial configuration of all the settings. Then when you're ready to start using the control system, change the Control setting to RS232  in the front panel menu.
