The Bijou2100, 3100, and 5100D have many settings that can be adjusted to perfect your system, and it's recommended to save a backup of these settings in case there's a firmware update, a factory reset is needed, or you want to re-use these settings on other devices.
Save Settings
To save the settings, open the Bijou's web interface, navigate to the System settings page, and scroll down to the bottom section. On the Save Settings option, click Export settings.
A window will pop up letting you name the file before saving it. Click download, and a .json file will be downloaded to the designated download folder on your computer.
Move the config file to a folder related to the project you are working on so it will be easier to find if and when it's needed.
Load Settings
To load a settings file, open the Bijou's web interface, navigate to the System settings page, and scroll down to the bottom section. On the Load Settings option, click Browse.
In the window that appears, navigate to the previously saved .json file and click Open.
Once you've selected the desired file, click Import Settings, and the Bijou will begin loading the settings. The import process takes about a minute.
When settings are finished loading, the Bijou will reboot and the page will refresh.
Files can only be loaded into a Bijou if they were saved from a the same model of Bijou. For example, a Bijou2100 can only load a file that was saved from a Bijou2100.
