XP-6s Operation Guide

XP-6s Features:

Programming & Firmware:

  • Programmed using Integration Designer® software via USB or Ethernet. ​
  • Firmware updates available on RTI’s website. ​

Infrared Emitters:

  • Supports up to four IR emitters per port; amplified connecting block required for more. ​
  • IR output gain adjustable for each port. ​

RS-232 Communication:

  • Three RJ-45 ports for RS-232 communication (up to 50 feet depending on baud rate). ​
  • Includes three RJ-45 to DB-9 adapters. ​

Sense Inputs, Trigger Outputs, and Relays:

  • Sense inputs trigger events based on contact closure. ​
  • Trigger outputs provide 12VDC @100mA. ​
  • Relays offer dry contact closure, programmable for Normally Open or Closed. ​

Connectivity:

  • Ethernet port for LAN connection and system file downloads. ​
  • RTI COM port for Zigbee® transceiver module. ​
  • Expansion port for IR signals and RS-485 communication. ​

Power Supply:

  • Powered by a 12VDC/1Amp supply. ​

Mounting:

  • Can be placed on a flat surface or mounted in a component rack. ​

LEDs:

  • Status LED indicates booting and operation. ​
  • Power LED lights red when power is applied. ​
  • IR/Relay/Trigger/Sense LEDs light red during use. ​
  • Netlink LED lights red when connected to Ethernet. ​

Product Contents:

  • XP-6s processor, power supply, three RJ-45 to DB-9 adapters, two rack ears, terminal block, reference guide, and MAC address card. ​

  • Follow safety instructions and avoid exposure to heat, water, or moisture. ​
  • Clean with a lightly dampened lint-free cloth; avoid harsh chemicals. ​
