CX7 Firmware

CX7 Firmware

VERIFYING THAT YOU NEED THE UPGRADE
If you already have version 22.3.31 or newer you should not upgrade your
firmware to this version. Use the "Get Firmware Version" command from
the Communications menu in TheaterTouch Designer or Integration Designer
to determine the current firmware version. The reported version number
will consist of a number followed by a bootloader version number
[for example: 22.3.31 (Bootloader: 1.5)]. If the first part of the reported
version number is 22.3.31 or higher, you do not need this update.

PREREQUISITES FOR USING THIS UPGRADE PROCEDURE
TheaterTouch Designer 3.0 or higher, or Integration Designer 6.0 or
higher must already be installed on the PC that you wish to use to
upgrade the CX7 firmware.  If your PC runs a 64-bit version of Windows,
Integration Designer 7.0 must be installed to perform the upgrade.
Upgrading to the latest version of Integration Designer is strongly
recommended.  You should verify that you can communicate with the CX7
using Integration Designer before attempting to upgrade the firmware.

FIRMWARE UPGRADE PROCEDURE
1. Connect power to the CX7 and make sure it operates normally.
2. Make sure Integration Designer 6.0 or higher is installed on the
PC that you are using to update the CX7 firmware, and that Integration
Designer can communicate successfully with the CX7. You can use the
"Get Firmware Version" command on the Communications menu in Integration
Designer to verify that the USB communications are working properly.
3. Run the .exe program contained in this ZIP file and follow
   the on-screen instructions carefully.
